A simple guide to making delicious Starbucks style iced coffee drinks at home with various flavor options.
Ingredients

- 2 cups strong brewed coffee or 4 shots brewed espresso, chilled
- 1 cup cold milk or milk alternative (almond, oat, soy, etc.)
- Ice cubes
- 2–4 tbsp simple syrup or flavored syrup (vanilla, caramel, hazelnut) to taste
- Optional: whipped cream, cold foam, cocoa powder, cinnamon, caramel drizzle
Instructions
- Brew coffee stronger than usual. Let it cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
- Fill a tall glass with ice.
- Pour 1 cup chilled coffee into the glass.
- Add 1/2 to 1 cup cold milk based on desired creaminess.
- Stir in 2-4 tbsp simple syrup or flavored syrup to taste.
- For a shaken iced coffee, combine coffee, milk, syrup, and ice in a jar, close lid, and shake for 10 seconds.
- Top with cold foam or whipped cream if desired.
- Add a drizzle or sprinkle of caramel, cocoa, or cinnamon for garnish.
Notes
Serve cold and fresh, adding more ice if it sits too long. Store leftover coffee in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 3 days.
