- Pizza dough
- 2 pears, thinly sliced
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh arugula for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Brush the dough with olive oil, then sprinkle salt and pepper over it.
- Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Arrange the sliced pears on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the gorgonzola cheese on top of the pears.
- Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over the pizza once it’s out of the oven.
- Garnish with fresh arugula before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use ripe but firm pears for the best texture and experiment with different cheeses for unique flavors.
