- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup rolled oats (dry)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or unsweetened non-dairy)
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Place bananas, rolled oats, milk, protein powder (if using), honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract into a blender.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, for 30–60 seconds depending on your blender.
- If desired, add ice cubes and blend again until combined.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness, adding more milk or honey/maple as desired.
- Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately.
Notes
For the best flavor, use overripe bananas. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 24–48 hours.
