  • Crushed red pepper flakes for heat (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and cook until soft, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula.
  4. Stir in the shredded cabbage and carrot; cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper to taste, stirring well.
  6. Cook for another minute before serving.

Notes

Avoid overmixing once you add the soy sauce; ensure beef is fully cooked with no pink remaining.
