Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add the brown sugar while continuing to beat until the mixture is glossy and stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in the vanilla extract.
- Drop spoonfuls of the meringue mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 1.5 to 2 hours, until the cookies are crisp and dry.
- Turn off the oven and let the cookies cool inside before removing. Enjoy!
