Bruschetta Dip

Description

A creamy, bright, and shareable dip featuring fresh basil, tomatoes, and a herbed cheese spread, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6.5 oz (≈184 g) Alouette Herb & Garlic cheese spread or a soft herbed cheese like Boursin
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, finely chopped (about 90 g)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

  1. Choose your platter: select a shallow, attractive plate or small serving platter. Chill it briefly if you prefer a cool base.
  2. Spread the cheese: Evenly spread the cheese in the center of the plate, forming a disk about 7–8 inches across.
  3. Add tomatoes: Evenly sprinkle and gently press the chopped tomatoes atop the cheese.
  4. Add basil: Scatter the chopped basil over the tomatoes.
  5. Drizzle glaze: Drizzle balsamic glaze over the whole plate.
  6. Serve: Arrange pita chips or crackers around the platter and invite guests to scoop.

Notes

Make sure to avoid watery tomatoes by patting them dry and store in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
