Bruschetta Dip

Description

A vibrant bruschetta dip with sun-warmed tomatoes, fresh basil, and creamy herb cheese, perfect for gatherings or casual snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (6.5 oz) package Alouette cheese with herbs (or another soft herb cheese spread such as Boursin)
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, finely chopped (about 1 medium tomato)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or balsamic reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

  1. Bring the cheese to room temperature (about 15–20 minutes out of the fridge) so it’s easy to spread.
  2. On a large serving plate or small platter, spread the soft cheese evenly in a circular mound in the center, leaving a 1/4-inch border around the edge.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the chopped tomatoes over the cheese, ensuring they cover the surface without sliding off.
  4. Scatter the chopped basil over the tomatoes, pressing lightly so they adhere.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze in a light zigzag across the plate.
  6. Arrange pita chips, crackers, or toasted baguette slices around the platter and serve immediately.

Notes

For best texture, do not refrigerate the assembled platter for long before serving; the cheese is best at cool room temperature.
