Description

A fresh and creamy bruschetta dip that’s perfect for parties and casual gatherings, featuring ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and herbed cheese.


Ingredients

  • 6.5 oz herbed soft cheese spread (Alouette, Boursin, or similar)
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes, finely chopped (about 90 g; cherry or roma work well)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (packed)
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze or reduction
  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare your plate or platter by selecting a large shallow plate and leaving about a 1/4-inch border.
  2. Spread the herbed cheese evenly over the center of the plate to form a circular bed about 6–8 inches across.
  3. Evenly sprinkle and gently press the chopped tomatoes over the cheese, covering most of the cheese surface.
  4. Distribute the chopped basil over the tomatoes.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze in thin ribbons over the entire plate.
  6. Optionally sprinkle with flaky sea salt and pepper, and place serving chips around the platter. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan version, use plant-based cheese and maple-balsamic glaze. Make sure to drain juicy tomatoes before assembly.
