Caramel Pecan Cream Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed graham crackers and melted butter, then press into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for 10 minutes and allow the crust to cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully combined.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

For a different flavor profile, swap pecans for walnuts or almonds. Use gluten-free graham crackers for a gluten-free version.
