- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (cremini or button)
- 12–15 fresh sage leaves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter with olive oil over medium heat until bubbling.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add fresh sage leaves to the skillet, frying until crispy, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
- Gently toss in the cooked tortellini, ensuring it is mixed well with the buttery mushroom and sage mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
