  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter with olive oil over medium heat until bubbling.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add fresh sage leaves to the skillet, frying until crispy, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Gently toss in the cooked tortellini, ensuring it is mixed well with the buttery mushroom and sage mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
