Cheeseburger Casserole


Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Toppings: sliced pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, cheddar cheese soup, milk, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and the cooked beef mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Serve warm, optionally topped with pickles, tomatoes, and lettuce.

Notes

Be careful not to overmix the ingredients. Add a dash of hot sauce to the meat mixture for a spicy kick.
