Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole

Description

A warm and inviting casserole filled with cream cheese and topped with flaky crescent rolls, perfect for brunch or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can crescent roll dough (8 oz)
  • 1 package (8 oz) full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
  • 11 1/2 cups fresh berries or 1 can (about 21 oz) pie filling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch casserole dish.
  2. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and lump-free.
  3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the greased casserole dish, sealing seams.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough base.
  5. If using, spoon fruit topping evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Place a second layer of crescent roll dough on top, sealing the edges.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and filling is set.
  8. Cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.

Notes

Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for a lump-free filling. If using fresh berries, lightly toss them with flour to reduce bleeding.
