A luxurious twist on a classic grilled cheese, featuring golden-brown sourdough, melty cheese, and succulent shrimp infused with garlic.

- 4 slices of sourdough bread
- 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp and season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, in a hot skillet. Layer with cheddar cheese, cooked shrimp, and sprinkle with parsley.
- Top with another slice of bread, buttered side up. Grill until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For additional flavor, consider adding fresh basil or chives. Serve alongside a fresh salad or creamy tomato soup for a classic pairing.
