Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

Ingredients

  • 3 cooked chicken breasts, shredded (about 3 cups shredded)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas or wraps
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional; cilantro, parsley, or chives)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30–60 seconds).
  2. In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with the sautéed garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly seasoned.
  3. Lay out each tortilla and distribute the chicken mixture evenly among them.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken in each tortilla.
  5. Fold the tortillas into wraps (fold the sides in, then roll tightly).
  6. Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet over medium heat and cook until golden and crispy on both sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
  7. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Protein is high thanks to lean chicken and cheese. Lower calories by using low-fat cheese or smaller tortillas.
