- 3 cooked chicken breasts, shredded (about 3 cups shredded)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large tortillas or wraps
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional; cilantro, parsley, or chives)
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30–60 seconds).
- In a bowl, combine shredded chicken with the sautéed garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly seasoned.
- Lay out each tortilla and distribute the chicken mixture evenly among them.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the chicken in each tortilla.
- Fold the tortillas into wraps (fold the sides in, then roll tightly).
- Place the wraps seam side down in the skillet over medium heat and cook until golden and crispy on both sides (about 2–3 minutes per side).
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Protein is high thanks to lean chicken and cheese. Lower calories by using low-fat cheese or smaller tortillas.
