Chicken and Broccoli Pasta


Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (linguine or penne)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a pot, then cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the broccoli florets and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for another 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is tender yet still vibrant.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the Parmesan cheese. Toss everything to mix well. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if desired.

Notes
