Description
A delicious blend of tender chicken and crunchy cabbage stir-fried with garlic, ginger, and rich sauces for a quick and satisfying meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 4 cups Napa cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup green cabbage, shredded
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- Optional: bell peppers or snap peas
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken breast and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add a bit of oil if needed, then add the garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shredded Napa cabbage, green cabbage, and carrot to the pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the pan. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and rice vinegar. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot.
Notes
For the juiciest chicken, use fresh breast pieces rather than frozen. Avoid overcrowding the pan to ensure everything cooks evenly.
