Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Gradually stir in boiling water.
- Pour the batter evenly into prepared pans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then remove and cool completely on wire racks.
- Layer the cakes with buttercream frosting and top with chocolate ganache.
Notes
Use high-quality cocoa powder for better flavor. Don’t overmix to ensure a tender cake.
