- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined (be careful not to overmix).
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cooling slightly on the baking sheet, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, avoid overmixing the dough to keep cookies light and tender. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
