- 300 ml double cream
- 200 g cream cheese
- 100 g grated cheese (cheddar or similar)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200 g cooked chicken, shredded
- 100 g spinach (fresh or frozen)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (like chives or parsley) for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Bake the pastry case according to package instructions until golden.
- Sauté the onion and garlic in a frying pan until soft and fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, double cream, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Stir in grated cheese, cooked chicken, sautéed onion and garlic, spinach, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the baked pastry case, distributing evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden on top.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy either warm or cold!
