Description

A comforting casserole with a crispy tater tot topping, savory beef, creamy mushroom soup, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it into crumbles. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder to the beef. Stir until well combined and heated through.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the drained corn evenly over the beef layer.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the corn and beef.
  7. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the casserole is bubbling.
  9. Let the casserole cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole is hearty and calorie-dense. To lower calories, choose lean ground beef, reduced-fat cheese, or bake homemade potatoes instead of frozen tots.
