Description
Delicious bite-sized churro bites coated in cinnamon sugar, made in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (for dough)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and granulated sugar. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in flour and salt until a smooth dough forms.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket with cooking spray.
- Transfer dough to a piping bag and pipe small bite-sized pieces into the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning the basket once if needed, until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Toss churro bites in the mixture until coated.
Notes
Best served immediately; can store in an airtight container for up to 2–3 days or freeze uncoated bites for 1 month.
