- 2 lbs chicken breast tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola recommended)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove the tenders and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
Notes
For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs and ensure the oil is hot enough before frying.
