Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crunch)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola recommended)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk until smooth.
  2. In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  6. Fry the chicken tenders in batches until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the tenders and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.

Notes

For extra crunch, use Panko breadcrumbs and ensure the oil is hot enough before frying.
