Crispy Parmesan Salmon Bake


Description

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the top of each fillet with olive oil and then press the Parmesan mixture onto each fillet to form a crust.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges.

Notes

For extra crisping, broil for 1–2 minutes at the end—but watch closely to avoid burning. Use panko breadcrumbs for an extra crunch.
