Description

Tender chicken in a rich Caesar dressing served on hoagie rolls topped with Romaine lettuce.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Caesar dressing
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • Shredded Romaine lettuce
  • Additional Parmesan cheese for serving

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  2. In a bowl, combine the Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Set the crock pot to low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks, mixing it gently with the sauce in the pot.
  5. Serve the shredded chicken on hoagie rolls topped with shredded Romaine lettuce and additional Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and frozen for up to 3 months.
