Crock Pot Hot Chocolate


Description

A rich and creamy hot chocolate made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for serving a crowd.


Ingredients

  • 5 cups whole milk
  • 16 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Combine: Put the milk, heavy cream, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and salt in the crock pot. Whisk to fully combine.
  2. Chocolate Chips: Add the chocolate chips and mix again.
  3. Cook: Warm the slow cooker to the low setting for 1 hour.
  4. Whisk Again: Give the whole pot another whisk before serving.
  5. Warm + Serve: Keep the crock pot on warm and serve as needed.

Notes

Add whipped cream, marshmallows, or a sprinkle of cocoa for serving. Adjust sugar or cocoa to taste.
