Description
A comforting and hearty casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, cheese, and creamy soup, perfectly cooked in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large crockpot, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, starting with the potatoes, then the beef mixture, and finally, the cheese.
- In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the milk, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste, then pour over the casserole layers.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
For an extra flavor boost, brown the beef with garlic or add Italian herbs. Don’t overmix while layering the ingredients.
