Crockpot Hamburger Potato Casserole

Description

A comforting and hearty casserole made with ground beef, potatoes, cheese, and creamy soup, perfectly cooked in a crockpot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 medium potatoes, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. In a large crockpot, layer half of the sliced potatoes, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese.
  3. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, starting with the potatoes, then the beef mixture, and finally, the cheese.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the milk, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste, then pour over the casserole layers.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra flavor boost, brown the beef with garlic or add Italian herbs. Don’t overmix while layering the ingredients.
