  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Juice of 1 lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp is pink and opaque, roughly 3-4 minutes.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the shrimp, mixing well to coat. Add lemon juice if desired.
  5. Plate and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately while hot.
