- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and ginger, stirring for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Toss in broccoli florets with a splash of water, cover the pan, and steam for 2-3 minutes until tender yet vibrant.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve the beef and broccoli stir-fry over hot cooked rice.
Notes
For a spicy variation, add red pepper flakes during cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
