- 1 loaf of French bread
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
- Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered halves.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
For a crispy texture, broil the bread for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end of the baking time, watching closely to prevent burning. Leftovers can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
