Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread


Description

A delightful combination of crispy French bread topped with buttery garlic and gooey melted cheese, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  3. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place it cut side up on a baking sheet.
  4. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the buttered halves.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

For a crispy texture, broil the bread for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end of the baking time, watching closely to prevent burning. Leftovers can be stored at room temperature for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
