  • 1 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk to combine.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined, ensuring no pockets of dry flour remain.
  5. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Let cool completely in the pan (about 30–45 minutes) before slicing into squares.

Notes

Do not overbake, as the brownies will firm up as they cool.
