Description

A quick and satisfying dish that brings the comforting tastes of a Philly cheesesteak to your dinner table in just 25 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Push the vegetables to the side of the skillet and add the sliced steak.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the steak is just browned.
  5. Gently mix the sautéed vegetables with the steak.
  6. Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of the steak mix in the skillet and cover to melt.
  7. Split the hoagie rolls and fill each with the steak and cheese mixture.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious Philly cheesesteaks!

Notes

Don’t overcook the ribeye; it’s best when just browned to maintain tenderness. Experiment with toppings like jalapeños or fried onions for customization.
