A whimsical chocolate cake adorned with snowy-white frosting and decorative accents, perfect for children’s parties and celebrations.
Ingredients

- 1 box chocolate cake mix (standard size, ~15–16 oz)
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 tub white frosting (ready-to-use, about 16 oz tub recommended)
- Blue food coloring (as needed)
- Purple food coloring (as needed)
- Frozen character decorations (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two round cake pans.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool completely.
- Frost the top of one cake layer with white frosting.
- Place the second cake layer on top, then frost the top and sides of the entire cake with white frosting.
- Add blue and purple food coloring to remaining frosting to create decorative accents.
- Decorate with Frozen character decorations.
- Chill in the freezer for about an hour before serving. Enjoy your Frozen cake!
Notes
For richer flavor, use milk instead of water. Can also be made dairy-free and gluten-free with specific substitutes.
