- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika until combined.
- Place the chicken breasts in a single layer in a baking dish. Pour the garlic butter mixture evenly over the chicken, turning each breast to coat thoroughly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) at the thickest part.
- Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Let the chicken rest 3–5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
Notes
For best results, pound thicker breasts to an even thickness and baste once halfway through baking with pan juices.
