- 1 lb ground beef or lamb
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, egg, and milk.
- Mix gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing, as it can make the meatballs tough.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to ensure even cooking and easy cleanup.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned.
- Serve warm with tzatziki sauce or in a pita for a wholesome bite.
