Description

Delicious Greek Meatballs combine aromatic herbs and tender meat for a flavorful and comforting dish.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, oregano, salt, black pepper, egg, and milk.
  3. Mix gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing, as it can make the meatballs tough.
  4. Form the mixture into small meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to ensure even cooking and easy cleanup.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and lightly browned.
  7. Serve warm with tzatziki sauce or in a pita for a wholesome bite.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container; best consumed within 2 hours at room temperature, up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or 3 months in the freezer.
