Hawaiian Roll Cheeseburger Sliders

Description

Irresistible Hawaiian Roll Cheeseburger Sliders filled with juicy beef, melted cheese, and a hint of tangy condiments.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Sautéed mushrooms (optional)
  • Grilled onions (optional)
  • Different types of cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled. Add onions, ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  4. Spoon the cooked beef mixture over the bottom halves and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  6. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over the tops of the rolls.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until rolls are golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  9. Serve warm, garnished with pickles if desired!

Notes

Don’t overmix the beef; let it brown nicely for the best flavor. Use 80/20 ground beef for juiciness.
