A simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes.
Ingredients

- 400g spaghetti
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Grated parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions in salted water until al dente.
- While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until garlic is golden, about 2 minutes.
- Drain pasta, reserving some cooking water.
- Add pasta to the pan with garlic oil, tossing to coat.
- If needed, add a bit of reserved pasta water for a saucier consistency.
- Stir in chopped parsley and season with salt.
- Serve warm, topped with grated parmesan cheese.
Notes
For added flavor, you can include some anchovies or substitute the spaghetti with another pasta of your choice.
