  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and garlic powder; season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large casserole dish, layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
  4. Spoon the cooked ground beef mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the meat.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of everything.
  7. Cover the casserole dish with foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
