- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped or chips
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, coconut oil, peppermint extract, and water. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch) and then flatten them into patty shapes.
- Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
- While the patties are freezing, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- Remove the frozen patties from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
- Place the chocolate-covered patties back onto the baking sheet and refrigerate until the chocolate is set.
- Once the chocolate is firm, enjoy your homemade peppermint patties!
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months.
