- 2 slices of bread (your choice: white, whole wheat, sourdough)
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 2 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
- Layer with cheese, followed by banana slices, and drizzle honey over the bananas.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and grill until cheese melts and the other side is golden brown, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately while warm.
