Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (your choice: white, whole wheat, sourdough)
  • 1 ripe banana, sliced
  • 2 slices of cheese (e.g., cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Butter for grilling

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in the skillet.
  3. Layer with cheese, followed by banana slices, and drizzle honey over the bananas.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Grill until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and grill until cheese melts and the other side is golden brown, about another 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately while warm.
