Hot Honey Chicken Tenders

Description

Crispy, golden-brown chicken tenders drizzled with a zesty hot honey sauce, perfectly balancing heat and sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until well combined.
  3. Place the breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken tender first into the flour mixture, ensuring it is fully coated, then into the eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully fry the chicken tenders until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes on each side.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix together the honey and hot sauce until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the hot honey mixture over the chicken tenders right before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken tenders in buttermilk, garlic powder, and paprika for at least an hour before coating.
