Ingredients

  • 250g Halloumi cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • Fresh herbs (like thyme or oregano) for garnish
  • Lemon wedges (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi cheese into 1/2 inch thick slices.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the halloumi slices to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. In a separate small saucepan, heat the honey with red pepper flakes until warm but not boiling.
  5. Drizzle the hot honey over the cooked halloumi, allowing it to cascade and coat each slice.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve with lemon wedges on the side, if desired.
