Description
A cold, sweet coffee drink combining brown sugar syrup, espresso (or cold brew), and oat milk, shaken with ice for a frothy texture.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 blonde espresso shots (or 1/2 cup of cold brew coffee)
- 1/3 cup oat milk
- Ice, for serving
- Cup or Mason Jar with a Lid
Instructions
- Brown Sugar Syrup: In a microwave-safe bowl, mix brown sugar, water, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then stir until fully dissolved. Allow to cool.
- Espresso: Prepare 3 shots of espresso (or cold brew coffee).
- Assembly: Add ice to your mason jar, pour in the brown sugar syrup and espresso shots (or cold brew), screw the lid on tightly, and shake until frothy. Remove the lid, pour in the oat milk, mix, and enjoy!
Notes
Use cold espresso or cold brew to avoid fast melting of the ice. Cool the syrup before mixing with ice. For a sweeter drink, add more syrup to taste.
