Individual Tiramisu Cups


Description

Delicate and creamy individual tiramisu cups, perfect for intimate gatherings and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 24 ladyfingers (about 4 per cup)
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) strong brewed espresso, cooled
  • 8 oz (227 g) mascarpone cheese, chilled
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream, chilled
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
  • 23 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional, add to espresso)
  • Chocolate shavings or grated dark chocolate for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brew espresso and let it cool.
  2. Dip ladyfingers in the cooled espresso quickly to soak.
  3. In a bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  4. In another bowl, mix mascarpone, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Layer soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of serving cups.
  7. Add a layer of mascarpone cream, then add more ladyfingers, and top with mascarpone again.
  8. Refrigerate for a few hours to set (at least 2 hours, ideally overnight).
  9. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

This dessert contains significant saturated fat and sugar—enjoy in moderation. Use high-quality mascarpone and freshly brewed espresso for best flavor.
