- 6 jalapeño peppers
- 1 package of crescent roll dough
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Optional: candy eyes for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder; mix until blended.
- Scoop the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into thin strips.
- Wrap dough strips around the stuffed jalapeños.
- Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Attach candy eyes if desired before serving.
Notes
For a milder flavor, choose larger jalapeños. You can also freeze unbaked mummies for longer storage.
