- 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a large baking dish.
- Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
- In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then dollop half over the ravioli.
- Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese and some marinara sauce on top.
- Repeat with the remaining ravioli, ricotta, marinara sauce, and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.
Notes
Don’t overmix the ricotta mixture and opt for high-quality marinara for the best flavor. You can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
