Description

A decadent, cheesy masterpiece that transforms humble frozen ravioli into a gourmet delight, featuring layers of gooey mozzarella, creamy ricotta, and zesty marinara.


Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a large baking dish.
  3. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
  4. In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then dollop half over the ravioli.
  5. Sprinkle a layer of mozzarella cheese and some marinara sauce on top.
  6. Repeat with the remaining ravioli, ricotta, marinara sauce, and top with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for another 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh basil, and serve.

Notes

Don’t overmix the ricotta mixture and opt for high-quality marinara for the best flavor. You can store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
