Ingredients

  • 12 wooden cocktail picks or small skewers
  • 12 cubes cheddar or gouda cheese (about 1/2 oz / 14 g each)
  • 12 thin slices salami or pepperoni (folded if large)
  • 12 olives (green or black, pitted)
  • 12 grape tomatoes
  • 12 grapes or berries (seedless grapes or firm berries)
  • Fresh basil or rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Optional: honey or balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Prepare your workspace: lay out a clean board, a platter for serving, and the cocktail picks.
  2. Cube the cheese evenly so every skewer feels balanced.
  3. If using large salami slices, fold each slice into thirds or roll them into a ribbon for easy threading.
  4. Build each skewer in this order: cheese cube, folded salami slice, olive, grape tomato, grape/berry.
  5. Repeat until all 12 skewers are assembled. Arrange them on a serving platter with basil or rosemary sprigs.
  6. If desired, lightly drizzle honey or balsamic glaze over the skewers.
  7. Chill for 10–15 minutes before serving, or serve at room temperature.

Notes
