Mini Grilled Cheese Hawaiian Rolls


Description

Warm, slightly sweet Hawaiian rolls with melted cheese; a perfect bite-sized comfort food.


Ingredients

  • 1 (12-count) package Sweet Hawaiian rolls (slider-size)
  • 12 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for brushing the outside)
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard or mayonnaise for a thin spread inside

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place a rack in the middle position and line a baking sheet with parchment or aluminum foil.
  3. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half without separating them completely.
  4. Place cheese slices inside the rolls.
  5. Spread butter on the outside of each roll.
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and the outside is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, do not overfill rolls and use slightly dense Hawaiian rolls.
