- 1 (12-count) package Sweet Hawaiian rolls (slider-size)
- 12 slices cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for brushing the outside)
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard or mayonnaise for a thin spread inside
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place a rack in the middle position and line a baking sheet with parchment or aluminum foil.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half without separating them completely.
- Place cheese slices inside the rolls.
- Spread butter on the outside of each roll.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and the outside is golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, do not overfill rolls and use slightly dense Hawaiian rolls.
