Description

A comforting one-pan meal combining tender chicken and buttery noodles, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. If necessary, drain excess liquid. Stir in remaining butter until melted.
  5. Slice cooked chicken and serve over buttered noodles. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley if desired.

Notes

Pro Tip: Check the chicken’s internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
