Description
A comforting and creamy pasta dish made with garlic and Parmesan, all cooked in one pot for minimal cleanup.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz pasta (like fettuccine or spaghetti)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
- Pour in the pasta and vegetable broth. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
- Cook the pasta for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until al dente.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Be careful not to overcook the pasta; stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Adjust sauce thickness with additional broth or cream as needed.
