One-Pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta


Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine the pasta, vegetable broth, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Cook for about 10 minutes, until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until it has melted.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Notes

Stir the pasta occasionally to prevent sticking, and taste for doneness a minute or two before suggested cooking time.
